Library/Fonts and ~/Library/Fonts folders are completely empty. My System/Library/Fonts folder only contains the OS X critical fonts. (I use FontExplorer X Pro for my font activations. I'm not real familiar with FontBook as I don't use it so I'm not sure what the best way to do this is. You might want to deactivate any fonts that are not required by the system to function and check the application in question (PageSender) to see if it works as it should. FontBook and the system should not allow another form of Helvetica Neue to be activated. You might have a duplicate of Helvetica Neue, but since this is a protected system font and you are using Font Book, I'm not sure that this font is causing your issues. I don't recommend this as some applications require this font. Please read section 4 of the link I posted earlier for the best way to do this. That is why you have to remove it from both folders. If you only remove the font in System/Library/Fonts, the next time you restart, Helvetica Neue will be placed back into that folder automatically. OK so can I remove the font form the normal font folder than?
